Construction sites have to be monitored constantly so that they don't deviate from the original plan. The use of drones has helped with this because unmanned aircraft can fly over a site at any time of day to provide up-to-date information on what's going on or anything that's changed over time.  Drones are used by to create 3D models of construction sites so that architects can place virtual blueprints in an accurate environment before they're built. They help with inspections by providing important data on how weather conditions might affect a development plan.
